Kids Making a Difference

Students Named "Kids Making a Difference"

This program, hosted by the Hudson PTO and sponsored by Royster Realty of Hudson, recognizes Hudson students from a specific grade level K-8 each month of the school year through publishing an article about them in the Hudson Hub-Times and by making a donation in their names to their school.  This gives our community a way to “meet” these outstanding students and learn how they are making a positive difference in their schools and community.

Beginning with Kindergarten in September, nomination forms go out to staff members who will nominate students they feel make a difference in their school or community through helping others, being responsible and initiating positive changes.  Nominations are sent back to the school principal (or in the case of the Middle School, each grade’s unit principal) for final selections.  The principal or unit principal will select the top two honorees (one boy and one girl) and up to eight honorable mentions. The top two selections are highlighted in depth in the newspaper article.
