Nominations are currently being accepted through Friday, April 15th for the PTO Annual Teacher of the Year Award. Teachers can be nominated by  staff members, parents, students, or any other member of the Hudson educational community. To be eligible, nominees must have been employed by the Hudson School district for a minimum of one full school year .
 
The Annual Teacher of the Year award is given to two teachers that exemplify excellence in creativity, innovation, and initiative. This award recognizes individuals that have energized the educational community through their contributions both in and out of school. One award will be given to an educator in pre-K through 5th grades, and another will be given to an educator in grades 6-12. 

Each recipient will receive a check for $500 and a plaque in recognition of his/her contributions to the Hudson City Schools. Recipients are also recognized on a larger plaque kept at the Board of Education office. Applications for nomination are available online at www.hudsonpto.org and in all school buildings.
